Bioshock Live-Action Movie Update Confirms Netflix Project’s Status After Writers Strike
BioShock movie writer Michael Green provides an update on the status of his live-action adaptation for Netflix. Released in 2007, the first video game in the franchise transported players to the vast underwater city of Rapture in the 1960s, with an unpredictable story involving a genetic material that grants users superhuman powers. A BioSchock movie has long been in development with various writers and directors attached, but it was announced last year that the project moved to Netflix with Green writing and Francis Lawrence directing.
