"Beyond Devastated": Coyote Vs. Acme Director Reacts To WB Cancellation With Heartfelt Post

Dave Green, director of the recently cancelled Coyote vs. Acme movie, has responded to the news of Warner Bros. electing to shelve his already-completed movie. Based on the classic Warner Bros. animated character Wile E. Coyote and the fictional ACME corporation, the live-action and animated hybrid movie was set to star John Cena as the ACME Corporation CEO. Originally slated to be released in July 2023, it was previously taken off Warner Bros.’ release schedule, and its slot was assumed by the Barbie movie. More recently, it was reported that Coyote vs. Acme was being shelved indefinitely in favor of a $30 million tax write-off.
