In addition to receiving rave reviews, the female-led comedy raked in over $1 billion at the box office, making it Warner Bros.’s highest-grossing release. Barbie follows the titular doll’s (Margot Robbie) journey to the real world to find her purpose and is expected to spurn a lot more Mattel-inspired films. For now, though, Warner Bros. is looking ahead to Barbie‘s streaming release.
