Baldur’s Gate 3 Is Going To Fix Its Worst Party Mechanic

Baldur’s Gate 3 has no shortage of great features, but it also has a few mechanics that can stand out as frustrating to deal with. One of these lies in the way that co-op characters work. If online friends drop out of a campaign, their characters remain stuck in the party, blocking the use of the game’s interesting NPC companions in their place. Although this doesn’t have an effect on consistent multiplayer parties, it’s all too easy for a campaign the length of Baldur’s Gate 3 to lose some players along the way.
