All The Evidence Linking Ahsoka’s Grand Admiral Thrawn To Star Wars’ Oldest, Ancient Villains

There’s a growing theory that Ahsoka’s Grand Admiral Thrawn will be connected to some of Star Wars‘ oldest villains. Following his defeat and disappearance into the Unknown Regions as seen in the series finale of Star Wars Rebels, Thrawn is finally returning to the galaxy in the aftermath of the original trilogy with the destruction of Palpatine’s Empire. Set to become “Heir to the Empire”, Thrawn is prepared to make a major comeback as leader of the Imperial Remnant. As such, there’s some key evidence that the true threat of Thrawn will come from a very ancient source in the galaxy far, far away.
