Ahsoka’s Villain Has The Same Origin As The Mandalorian – So Why Does She Serve The Empire?

One of the main villains in Ahsoka shares a comparable origin to Din Djarin in The Mandalorian, yet she serves the Galactic Empire. The mysterious Morgan Elsbeth debuted in The Mandalorian season 2, surprisingly proving herself capable of holding her own against the legendary Ahsoka Tano (who bested Darth Maul at the Siege of Mandalore). Ahsoka explores Elsbeth’s past and explains how she could be powerful enough to contend with Tano with the simple explanation that she is a Nightsister, a tribe of dark side-using witches from Dathomir whose powers nearly rival those of the Jedi and Sith.
