Adam Sandler’s New Netflix Comedy Looks Nothing Like His Past Movies (& That’s Good)

Adam Sandler has starred in countless Netflix comedies, most of which have been negatively received, but his new upcoming comedy looks totally different and has the potential to be great. You Are So Not Invited To My Bat Mitzvah is a coming-of-age comedy about two best friends who fall out when they both have a crush on the same boy. One of them then conflicted about whether or not to invite the other to her Bat Mitzvah. The movie continues a long-running partnership between Sandler’s production company, Happy Madison, and Netflix, as the movie follows other Happy Madison/Netflix movies such as Murder Mystery, Hubie Halloween, and The Do-Over.
