Benedict Cumberbatch and Robert Downey Jr each gave admirable performances in their respective Sherlock Holmes screen adaptations, but Cumberbatch’s Sherlock was better in certain regards. There have been many movies and TV series centering on the famous detective and his doctor sidekick, but Cumberbatch and Downey Jr have taken the cake when it comes to recent favorites.
