Star Wars is a franchise known for its exotic and varied alien species, but not all of them come from the same galaxy far, far away as the main heroes and villains. In 1977, A New Hope introduced audiences to an array of species, from Chewbacca to the desert-dwelling Jawas and Tusken Raiders to the dynamic mix of creatures in the Mos Eisley Cantina.
