8 Movie Genres We Wish Edgar Wright’s Cornetto Trilogy Had Parodied

Edgar Wright has entertained millions of movie enthusiasts with his fabulous Three Flavors Cornetto trilogy, but as close to perfection as the existing installments may be, there are a number of other genres the filmmaker could have parodied and made the franchise even better. The now-iconic trilogy, which includes 2004’s Shaun of the Dead, 2007’s Hot Fuzz, and 2013’s The World’s End, stars real-life best friends Nick Frost and Simon Pegg, the latter of whom also co-wrote the movies. They parody zombie horror, buddy cop action flicks, and alien invasion movies, respectively, and do so fantastically.
