2023’s New Dracula Movie Continues His Decades-Spanning Rotten Tomatoes Curse

The Last Voyage of Demeter is the latest live-action Dracula movie, but it, unfortunately, continues a bad Rotten Tomatoes trend. The 2023 movie follows the crew of a ship as they try to survive an ocean voyage between Transylvania and London, but they’re being hunted by Dracula, who is also on board the ship. This is far from the first time Dracula has been adapted for the big screen, as it follows the iconic 1930s Bela Lugosi franchise, the Hammer series, and a string of big-budget high-concept movies. However, The Last Voyage of Demeter is the first time a Dracula-at-sea story has been told.
