Michael Fassbender hasn’t had a successful movie in years, but in Winter 2023, he could have two in a row. The German-Irish actor’s breakthrough project was all the way back in 2001 when he starred in the HBO series Band of Brothers, but following his first major movie role in 2007’s 300, Fassbender became one of the most in-demand actors in Hollywood. Fassbender has incredible range and commits to a role unlike most other actors, which helped him earn parts in award-nominated dramas such as Hunger, Shame, and 12 Years a Slave. His commanding on-screen presence is why he’s so terrifying as Magneto in the X-Men franchise too.
