Coraline‘s recent theatrical re-release has been a major success, with the 14-year-old animated classic earning almost $5 million at the box office and getting additional screening dates. Directed by Henry Selick, Coraline was first released back in 2009. The stop-motion film, which is based on a novella by Neil Gaiman, was a hit with audiences and critics, following a young girl who moves into a new house and discovers a portal to another world.
