11 MCU Characters Who Were Originally Planned To Die Years Ago

Marvel Studios has planned to kill off several characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe over the years but has often changed its mind. Since kicking off with 2008’s Iron Man, Marvel Studios has introduced dozens of interesting characters into live-action, each adapted from the pages of the Marvel Comics source material, though several of them have undergone huge changes when brought from page to screen. Many characters who met their demise in Marvel Comics have managed to survive the events of the MCU, and vice versa, but many of the MCU’s current roster of heroes and villains were planned to have their stories ended several years ago.
