Shonda Rhimes’ Grey’s Anatomy is currently 19 seasons of peak hospital drama, and while that seems like a never ending supply of television, there are other shows to watch for when it inevitably runs out. Without anything to replace it, the classic show hole is created; while it’s so easy to fall into that hole after growing attached characters over such a long period of time, it’s a lot harder getting out.
