10 Movies Disney Would’ve Made If Pirates Of The Caribbean Came Out 10 Years Later

A movie trend similar to the proliferation of live-action remakes could have begun in the mid-2010s if Disney had released Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl (2003) 10 years later. The original Pirates of the Caribbean ride at Disneyland in Anaheim was similar to what it is now: A 10 to 15-minute boat ride with various pirates singing “A Pirate’s Life for Me,” except the animatronics modeled after Captain Jack Sparrow were absent. Jack Sparrow and other characters were created for Jerry Bruckheimer and Gore Verbinski’s movies and added to the ride later.
