While the James Bond franchise has plenty of memorable supporting characters, far too many of them were wasted in only a handful of movie appearances. The James Bond franchise is perpetually trapped in something of a double bind. Since the movies in the series are about the suave super-spy 007, they can’t allow their campy villains and memorable love interests to draw too much attention away from their hero.
