For all its excellent superheroes, the Marvel Cinematic Universe has an unfortunate habit of underusing great characters, lots of whom deserve better in the franchise. Given the number of characters introduced across the MCU timeline‘s 40 plus releases, it’s somewhat inevitable that screen time is hard to balance: there are only so many hours to share around, and the tier 1 superheroes and villains get the lion’s share.
