While the Toymaker’s return to Doctor Who is exciting, there are quite a few classic villains who should return as well. The franchise is seeing the return of the Toymaker in the Doctor Who 60th-anniversary special, but he is not the only classic-era antagonist that could be reimagined as a modern villain. In the entirety of time and space, the Doctor has encountered all manner of aliens, creatures, and monsters, some of which threaten an antagonistic force to the Time Lord and their companions.
