1 Hunger Games Character Confirmed Dead Despite Being Alive In Songbirds & Snakes Book

The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes co-writer Michael Lesslie has confirmed the death of a character who stays alive in the source material. The prequel movie focuses on Coriolanus Snow (Tom Blyth) mentoring Lucy Gray Baird (Rachel Zegler) during the 10th annual Hunger Games, setting the stage for his rise to power in Panem. Other characters across the Capitol are also featured in the film, many of whom have similar roles from Suzanne Collins’ original novel. While the prequel faithfully covers the main plot points, there are many changes from the The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes book, including the fate of one supporting character.
