Manchester United Star ‘Set To Stay At Old Trafford After Meeting With Club Bosses’ (SEE WHO)

Manchester United captain, Bruno Fernandes is reportedly expected to remain with the club this summer despite rumours of his departure.

The Portuguese talisman has again been crucial for the Red Devils during a difficult season, scoring 15 goals and registering 11 assists in 45 appearances in all competitions.

The Portugal international has 79 goals and 64 assists in 230 appearances for the club since his arrival from Sporting Lisbon in January 2020.

Fernandes had earlier refused to rule out a move this summer, claiming that a decision on his future would not be made until after Euro 2024 in Germany.

However, according to The Athletic, the Manchester United playmaker is widely expected to remain with Man United beyond the end of this summer’s transfer window.

Fernandes has a contract at Old Trafford until June 2026, with the option of a further 12 months, but there has recently been speculation that he could leave this summer, as there are rumours of interest in Saudi Arabia, Inter Milan and Bayern Munich.

Fernandes and his representatives met with senior hierarchy at Man United last week to discuss his future with the English giant.

The Red Devils are believed to have reiterated their stance that they have no desire to let him leave, while Fernandes also expressed his desire to stay given all conditions are met.
