I Didn’t Make Don Jazzy, D’Banj Reconcile – Mr Macaroni

Popular Nigerian comedian and skitmaker, Mr Macaroni, has shut down rumours of being the key factor in making peace between Afrobeats superstars, Don Jazzy and D’banj.

It would be recalled that the singer and producer who co-founded Mo Hit Records in 2004 went their separate ways in 2012 after an undisclosed issue.

However, in a recent development, Don Jazzy and D’Banj were seen together in a promotional video for the Koko master’s new single, Since 0’4, hugging each other and sharing pleasantries.

The content creator who had always wanted D’Banj and Don Jazzy to reconcile the music icons, shared the video on his Twitter (X) page and said;

“It’s My Birthday and I got the perfect Gift.”

Back in March 2013, Mr Macaroni had expressed that he feels he will be the person to broker peace between the Nigerian music heavyweights.

He said:

“I Have This Feeling, A Very Strong Feeling; That I Will Reconcile D’banj And Don jazzy.”

However, amid the ongoing speculations that he has finally done it, Mr Macaroni admitted to not being behind their reconciliation.

In his words:

“Well, I didn’t do any reconciliation because they have been cool. But I’m so glad I can come back to this tweet and smile because Jah knows I have always loved these two with all my heart.”
