How Olamidotun got signed to well established record label BYC RECORDS

Safe to say, Nigerian Music has gained a huge entrance to the global music mainstream market. All the way from being unknown and underrated in previous years, to collaborating with top artists globally, receiving international awards and dominating the digital music charts and streams.

These achievements is a source of inspiration for talented upcoming artists like OLAMIDOTUN fka YFCEE who has been a recording artist and producer since 2012. Hence, why he’s being called BHADMAN FOR A REASON

Alabi Olamidotun, born on the 9th of December in Lagos, is one of Nigeria’s fast rising act. He is a young talented individual who believes in the power of good music, as well as creating them with his exceptional vocals. He has released numerous music projects and visuals including features & collaborations.

Being a producer has made it easier for Olamidotun (Yfcee) to understand and learn every bit of music and its business. When asked about his major challenges as an artist in an interview some months back, he revealed that investing in music to gain fame requires a lot of money & not having the kind of money required to project himself further, is a major challenge.

However, Olamidotun’s consistency in his career path regardless of unavailability of resources, has signed his first major deal this year with a newly established record label; BYC record. The deal includes both financial and marketing resources and he is signed as the first male artist of the Label.

The record label currently signed 2 artists; Olamidotun & Tenny Ann, this record deal signing did not leave a Nigeria music executive and artist manager Adekunle Damilola popularly known as AdedamPR out of the equation as he got his first biggest deal as artist manager under the BYC RECORDS who manages Olamidotun.
