HEARTBREAKING!!!!Police Investigate Murder Of Woman Sleeping Beside Husband In Yobe

The Yobe State Police Command has confirmed the tragic killing of a 42-year-old woman, Ammi Adamu Mamman, whose lifeless body was discovered with a deep cut on her neck at her residence in Bra Bra Housing Estate, Damaturu, the capital of Yobe State.

According to DSP Dungus Abdulkareem, the Police Public Relations Officer of the Yobe State Police Command, the State Criminal Investigation Department has initiated an investigation to apprehend the individuals responsible for this heinous act.

The statement revealed that the woman’s husband, Abubakar Musa, 43, also a resident of New Bra Bra Housing Estate in Damaturu, was present and asleep on the same bed when the incident occurred. Consequently, the husband was taken into custody for questioning.

It was further disclosed that both the deceased woman and her husband were employees of Yobe State University (YSU) in Damaturu.

The Police Command extended condolences to the grieving families while expressing commitment to intensify efforts towards identifying and arresting the perpetrators of this crime.
