Grammy award-winning singer, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, revealed his emotional state as he speaks about his mother’s death.
Wizkid who has always publicly talked about his love for his mother, lost her in August 2023.
The Afrobeats superstar took to his Instagram story to express how a part of himself has been lost ever since her tragic demise.
He appreciates fans and well-wishers who are on the healing journey with him while warning many to stay away as he now gives away slaps for free.
He said;
“Look in the mirror don’t feel myself! Mama left me and I lost myself!
Can’t wait to feel myself again! Life of a soldier!
Military wit it! 🤍🦅
Until then I Dey give slap away for free so leave me.
