Popular Nigerian rapper, Chinko Ekun, has said that Valentine’s Day should not be only about couples in romantic relationships.

Speaking in an interview with Saturday Beats, Chinko said that February 14th, which couples normally celebrate valentine’s day should be about showing love to one’s siblings, parents and even workers.

He revealed that he usually gets gifts, no matter how small, for members of his family and his security guard on Valentine’s Day.

He said;

“Valentine’s Day should not be restricted to only those in love. During Valentine, I usually get gifts for my friends, my lawyer, my mother, and my sister. Even those around me, such as my security guy, get something from me on Valentine’s Day, no matter how small. I usually go out on dates for Valentine’s Day, but most times, I am busy with shows.”
