BREAKING NEWS: Bobrisky Arrives Court For ‘Naira Abuse, Money Laundering’ Trial
Bobrisky, the embattled Nigerian crossdresser, appeared at the Federal High Court in Ikoyi, Lagos state on Friday for his trial on charges related to naira abuse and money laundering allegations.
The social media personality was arrested in Lagos on Wednesday night over accusations of abusing naira notes.
On Thursday, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) filed a six-count charge against Bobrisky, also known as Idris Olanrewaju Okuneye.
Four of the charges pertain to alleged naira abuse, while the remaining two counts involve accusations of money laundering.
Bobrisky is set to be arraigned before Judge Abimbola Awogboro.
