Why Wonder Woman Playing a Smaller Role in Suicide Squad Might Be for the Best

For the last 20 years or so, DC has only really focused on one superhero for its video game output, and that’s Batman. First, it was the endless stream of movie tie-in Batman games, beginning in the 1980s with Tim Burton’s first Batman movie and running right up until the Batman Begins tie-in game in 2005. Then Batman: Arkham Asylum released, and naturally, DC continued to double down on the Caped Crusader. Even the LEGO DC games all revolved around Batman. But while Batman is still set to appear in the game, games like the upcoming Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League might be shifting the focus away from the World’s Greatest Detective.
