Why [SPOILERS] is Perfect for Mortal Kombat 1’s Second DLC
Mortal Kombat 1 is among this year’s most anticipated titles. Following Liu Kang’s reinvention of the series’ universe, the door has been opened for new and exciting versions of fan-favorite characters to take the spotlight. However, the past few months have seen that spotlight shift toward Mortal Kombat 1‘s DLC fighters, an element that is usually focused upon post-release. Mortal Kombat 1‘s DLC packs have been the subject of online leaks, each revealing additions to the main roster and new Kameo fighters. The title’s second DLC pack seemingly includes plenty of fan favorites, but one, in particular, seems especially perfect for Mortal Kombat 1‘s main roster, as their penchant for over-the-top violence and a decades-long legacy align with that of the Mortal Kombat franchise.
