What a Second Round of LEGO Animal Crossing Sets Could Look Like

LEGO sets have come a long way since the rudimentary spaceships and castles of decades past. Now store shelves are filled with highly intricate sets, many of them centering around licensed properties such as Star Wars and Harry Potter. These film-based sets have dominated the LEGO aisle for the better part of twenty-five years, but sets based on video games have more recently found a foothold. Super Mario, Minecraft, and Sonic the Hedgehog are among the themes that LEGO has released so far, and in just a few months fans will be able to build their own Animal Crossing sets as well.
