This Sci-Fi Thriller Is One of the Best Time Travel Movies Out There

Nacho Vigalondo’s low-budget Timecrimes (2007) is an old-fashioned tale of time travel without the usual flashy visual effects and ambitious production. There are no explanations given for the sudden appearance of a time machine, nor grandiose theories about its philosophical implications. It is just a story of an ordinary middle-aged man, whose wandering eye on a lazy afternoon leads to elaborate attempts of rectifying his mistakes by tinkering with time.
