The Last of Us Needs Another Enemy More Frightening Than the Infected

As The Last of Us has a bright future ahead of it with a planned standalone multiplayer and the potential odds of The Last of Us Part 3, these future games should ensure they create fearsome and formidable enemies that are on the same level as the Infected. The villains of The Last of Us are arguably the same as most other zombie-related games and therefore consist of two main groups, the Infected and the human survivors. While the Infected are comparable to other zombies as mindless creatures driven by the cordyceps, The Last of Us has created various human factions with complex motivations.
