After 13 long years of waiting, fans are finally getting a sequel to the 2010 psychological action hit Alan Wake, and it’s only a few short weeks away now. Though its Max Payne series put the developer on the map, Alan Wake was still one of Remedy Entertainment’s most influential titles, and though the first game certainly has its flaws, it’s easy to see why it’s become such a cult hit over the last decade. If the pre-release buzz is to be believed, Alan Wake 2 is going to deliver a spooky experience that’s even more compelling than its predecessor.
