While the outer gates of Baghdad in Assassin’s Creed Mirage take their names from local features like the Four Markets and Nestorian Monastery (known by locals as the Greeks), the inner gates of the Round City have far grander names. Each one takes its name from major cities throughout the rest of the Abbasid Empire, which is why the northeast gate is called the Khurasan Gate.
