FromSoftware Should Feel Free to Explore Other Genres for Future Soulslikes

As one of the most prolific studios operating in the modern RPG genre, FromSoftware has risen from obscurity into mainstream appeal. Far less well known prior to Demon’s Souls in 2009 and the larger success of Dark Souls that followed in 2011, FromSoftware wasn’t always the beacon of innovative Soulslike experiences that it has become today. Now that it has developed a firmly established reputation in recent years under the direction of Hidetaka Miyazaki, however, FromSoft’s future potential has risen to heights that some fans could have only dreamed of previously.
