Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Rumored to Be Making Controversial Change to MW2 Maps

Rumor has it that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will be adding doors to some of its remade Modern Warfare 2 maps, though that has yet to be confirmed by any official sources. While most Call of Duty games launch with all-original maps and then add remastered fan favorites later, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is taking the opposite approach. It will have 16 maps at launch, all pulled from the 2009 iteration of Modern Warfare 3, with 12 original maps to be distributed post-launch as part of its seasonal content.
